Missions Work

Hey Everyone, 

Pastor Arturo Valesco from Mexico City, Mexico will be visiting us this Friday and Saturday in sharing his mission work for Jesus Christ in Atizapan, Mexico City. 

There will be a potluck dinner and a time of sharing this Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 6:30pm at Windsor Chinese Alliance Church in the basement of the rectory.

Please send 180acf an email about what you plan on bringing !
(Pot Luck means everyone brings in a dish to share)

On Saturday, November 26, 2011, @ 7:30pm, Pastor Arturo Valesco will be speaking at Windsor Chinese Alliance Church about his missions field. Please be in prayer in asking God to instill in us a heart for His(God) work by the Holy Spirit. 

Transportation will be provided for both events. Rides will be provided on Friday at 6:15pm and Saturday at 7:15pm at Vanier Circle. Please send 180acf an email if you will be needing a ride.

SNOW?!

ITS SNOWING SOON… Whether you like this news or not there is one thing you MUST be excited forno its not the Christmas holidays (though we’re sure we all need it)
no its not the Christmas presents (we all love gifts though)

when it starts to get cold and it brings the snow
know that the celebration of CHRIST is just around the corner !

With that being said, here’s a message from our beloved Pastor Rob :)

We need volunteers to play drums, piano, flute, violin, and guitars.  Also we need people to sing in the choir too.  Please send out a e-mail to your respective fellowships to see if anyone would like to be involved.  The first practice will be this Sunday at church at 2pm, and every Sunday following.  Dec 18, 2pm will be our first combined rehearsal and Dec 23 will be final and dressed rehearsal at 6:30pm at church.

The songs to be sung are:

  • Joy to the World
  • Away in a Manger
  • Silent Night, Holy Night
  • Angels We Have Heard on High
  • We Three Kings of Orient Are
  • Happy Birthday Jesus

180acf this week is doing a Service Project
The project will be to assist Salvation Army in painting rooms in their basement, they will provide paint and tools. We just need to show up :)

So come and join us ! Reply back so we know how many rooms we can paint !
